Living with Autism

Did you know that 66% of adults with Autism are unemployed? Currently it is estimated that up to 1 million young adults with Autism will enter the workforce within the next decade.  Unfortunately many of us are unable to find employment or be free of harassment and bullying while we work.  I am one of those adults.

I have been called diseased, made fun of, told I would grow out of it and had other degrading remarks thrown my way.

I will not grow out of "it" but I am growing into becoming an adult with Autism who will advocate for those like me and be successful.  Even if it takes a long time, I will get there.
